the sad thing is that I don't have a computer at home that runs sata. That's how old my shit is.

I'm a little behind on the formats, can you plop a sata drive into a regular EIDE ata controller? Or isn't SATA a proprietary controller? If the drive will work in an ata eide controller, its mine.

you'll need to purchase a SATA PCI controller card, ebay has tthem for around $10 and your local computer store should have one for around $20
