you can break a whole bunch of factory shafts for the cost of a set of dss shafts. personally im not all that impressed with the product but i only have level 2 so ymmv.

even the level 5 shafts still need a factory shaft to cannibalize for the inner joint. so if you have lots of miles/launches on your factory shafts you may want a new one for the inner joint and tripod. so you're looking at new factory shafts PLUS level 5 shafts PLUS install becuase the hub needs to be r&r.

wouldnt that suck to then break the inner joint?

1+ what good are shafts if u have no power to push them? get that vt motor, with the kb and then worry about shafts when you brreak one
