I have too many of these Jack Stands. I would like to sell a lightly used pair of 6-ton jack stands for $20 or trade for your 3-ton pair + $10 cash.
advantages/disadvantages of 6-ton stands:
Very large footprint makes it harder to work on your car if you need to scoot around alot while under it
Very Stable, you will feel much more secure working on your Yukon or Navigator
Extents higher than a 3-ton jack stand giving you more ground clearance
Maximum adjustment height on my 3-ton stands is 17" and on my 6-ton stands is 24". So it provides you plenty of ground clearance.
