If you plan to run some track tires for this year's open track season then you can purchase some Avon Tech tires at the discontinued price of $139.00 each.

The Avon Tech R competition tires are on sale for $139.00 for 275/40's. It's a steal considering they were $203. I called them and asked why they were getting rid of them and was told that the Tech R is being replaced by the Tech R"A", which is a little different rubber formulation. The grip is supposed to be better than the v700 kumho's and a little less than Hoosiers, but they last a long time.
