If you really want to sell it you need to post specs... Stone sizes, clarity, color, etc. I'm going to guess the center is a .25ct and the sides are .20. That's a really loose estimate looking at a picture on the interwebz though. :)

You're not going to get $2300 for those. You'll be lucky to get $1000 for them unless you have a large chain store receipt to go along with the pair. That's just the crappy thing about jewelry. I did pawn for 4 years and I can tell you story after story of people we gave $500 to for a ring they paid $2000 - $3000 for. Used jewelry is painful unless you're buying.

And on a side note gentleman, for future reference, buy used. Jewelry doesn't wear out. You'll save easily more than 50% buying from a pawn shop.

If those were mine I'd sell the two rings separately. The main ring is a past, present, future which has more value by itself than with the other ring. The other ring is a little more antique-y and doesn't really fit P,P,P ring all that well. You'll get more for the two separately than for the set.

I was engaged once before, she walked.

I thankfully bought mine at a place I could trade up because selling out right I was going to lose out big. I paid 5K for the first go around and got offers of less than 2k so I sat on it. When I decided to propose to my future wife I brought it back and they late me trade it in for full value as long as I spent more money, of course lol. So I walked out of there with twice the bill, yup 10k but that included the wedding band this time around.

She really wanted something different so I had them custom make the ring and it was a lot of money, but it is well worth it because she is awesome to me.

End thread crap!

I bought it at Rogers and Hollands. Worked with the manager and she treats me very well.

I bought an ex a ring from rogers & Hollands as well. The ring was worth $10k, but made a deal with them for $7500. I walked in, told them I wanted a ring, didn't care about price and looked around. I saw the ring I wanted, then looked at different center stones.

That was that. Shit hit the fan and she never got the ring. So for years I was sitting on this ring that meant nothing. I was thinking of trading it up for a ring for my current gf but Rogers & Hollands wanted me to buy something twice the price. So for an even longer time I sat on the ring. I ended up making a deal with their accounting department and sold the ring back to them for the FULL value of what it was worth. I got lucky. But that was only because I always bought from them ($5k movado watch, a coach watch for the gf, a few necklaces and charms, and smaller rings here and there). So I had somewhat of a tab with them (all 0% aprs). They just deducted the value of the ring from the balance and basically cleaned the slate. Lol.

But I was just lucky to make a deal with them like that. I doubt they normally do that with their customers.

I've had offers on craigslist (I was trying to sell for about $5k) and had offers from $2k-$4k. I'm glad I waited it out.
