Did you get another camera or something? What would you recommend to me as a starter camera?

I loved this thing as a starter, it was beyond perfect. I highly recommend going Nikon for starters, because they're much easier to use than Canons. I didn't buy another camera, I just out right sold this one, as I have no real use for it anymore. In a couple months, I will be buying a D60 or D90, so yes, I am upgrading, but not for a while.

Yep. They're fun cameras, and you can get some nasty shots with them. I'd like to go shoot my car before I ship this out...if I get the time.

canons arent hard to use i bought mine w/ basically no knowledge at all. an hour or so of browsing the net reading about aperture, iso, etc etc and i was ready to go

They're not hard to use, no, however the menu layout is a little more difficult. (I don't know if you have an SLR but I assume you're talking about an SLR). It seems that the Nikon is a lot easier to navigate/change options IMO.

ive only messed w/ one nikon...and it was before i got the canon so i cant really comment on the menu
