donated the microwave, they wouldn't take the CRT tv, as I suspected. TV, couch and bench went to the curb...we'll see if the garbage man takes the CRT.

Totally won't take the TV You can't even give those away. You gotta go to those special waste days to wait in a 2hr long line to get rid of those. Most people just throw them off of bridges into a rock quarry.

Salvation Army didn't take the furniture? They're some picky SOB's...we bought a cheap couch from them when we moved. Had it for probably 2 months before buying new stuff. The condition literally did not change, and they would not take it when they came to pick it up because they said it looked like shit. What? it came from you...
