How well would this work in a detatched, oversized one car garage that isn't insulated?

It's not made to heat the entire garage. Put it over head where you work to keep that area warm
If most of your work is in one place it's good. As long as you don't have super tall ceilings
If you want it to heat your entire garage it's not what you want

I had one of these in my brother's garage and they work damn good if you work in one spot and mount it properly. Location is everything with these.
