The reason I ask is because have been considering the use of a tablet for datalogging and tuning. I currently have a Acer netbook, but battery life is an issue. I've used a Surface for work and hated it BUT since it runs Windows, thought the datalogger, bin editor, and WBO2 logger would work on it. It would give me quick boot up, long BATT and eliminate need for power converter.
But need 2 USB ports for ALDL logger and WB.
I think it would be a more straightforward solution than looking for an Android or iOS version of the same tuning tools. I'm thinking the software could be installed on a Surface?

which windows 8. was gonna go buy one of these this week.. may just grab yours. is it 8 pro like what comes on them? or a different version of windows 8. Sorry i can't find specs on the surface pro only the surface pro 2 so I'm just a bit lost and comp illiterate too.
