Forged Aluminum Shortblock for sale *NEW*

I had this built very recently with parts I had aquired.

Details:
.020 over Marauder Aluminum Block
Diamond -5cc Pistons (9.75:1 w/ 4v heads)
Cobra Rods
Cobra Crank (Never cut)
ARP Main Studs

Built by Ted @ TK Racing in Chicago Heights.
He has done two modulars for me now with awesome results. His motors are QUIET.

I want what I have into it. $3250.

WAP is more or less the non-Teksid aluminum block. The WAP alum block cam in the 4.6 Explorer's the 03-04 Mach 1's, and a few other vehicles I cannot recall right now. You can tell a WAP from a Teksid by the vehicle's they came in and also by the casting marks on them.

the real question is, is it the one that came in the 99/01 that tended to explode

The Teksid's are well known for being pretty strong. The WAP's have been known for being pretty damn strong too. Both blocks will support a pretty decent amount of power. The 99/01's apparently received a mix of Teksid and WAP blocks. I would tend to feel like the internals would have given up causing the catastrophic failure you mention rather than the blocks themselves.
