t-5 is that out of a 5.0...is fifth still in the car

yes, we were TOLD that the tranny came from a 93 cobra. Not sure, so don't reley on that. We had it in our 91 coupe. We believe that someone removed the 5th gear, but have not opened it up to check it. The trans shifts great, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, no 5th gear, and reverse chatters like crfazy, and often pops out. Our car was not a street car, was a track car, so we never absolutely needed, or cared about reverse for that matter.
