It was a brand new Complete v-2 SQ kit from superchargersonline.com. (which was selling them for $3,224.)

I had the opening bid at $2,700 & the buy it now @ $2,800. I also offered to pay for 1/2 of shipping if the buyer used the "buy it now" icon. But the buyer ended up giving me $100 for the shipping when he only had to pay me $35...weird...

I did have to pay e-bay about $60 when it sold. You don't have to pay this charge if the product doesn't sell...

THing is, it's a lot of money for someone to send someone that they have never met, for a product they don't even know exists. So I emphasized I wanted a local pickup, but would ship if local pickup was not an option. I also offered to take $50 off of their final puchase price if they used the local pickup route. You've just got to make them believe that the kit DOES in fact exist.

Buyers are motivated by incentives.

Also, I only had about 10 feedback when it sold...
