i REALLY want a cobra 2k hood bad, but im gonna paint it to match my car, is it even worth thinking about carbon fiber?

If you going to paint it and not looking to save any weight then your best bet is a regular fiberglass unit.

We just got our prototypes done and had it out at gingerman.
Their 650.00 each. 3 layer carbon fiber, Solid as a rock and requires 4 hood pins.

Is it just me or does it look like the fit is off on the sides and rear? It looks like it doesnt make a tight fit, or the same height....but its probably just the lighting.

Would I be able to order a 03 Hood with that construction? Also, did you weigh the stock 03 hood? If yes, what did it weigh by chance? 30lbs?
