11k, they put tires on it and I think they fixed the wheel that was curb rashed. This is exactly where I thought they would price it. Which is much more than GXPs are actually selling for. Carmax will get it though as people trust them.

No, the trans was showing the first signs of tq converter failure. It was doing the lock/unlock at steady cruise on a flat surface. According to the GXP world this means that it is only a matter of time before the tq conv spikes the whole trans with metal fragments and you have to do an entire rebuild on it. There are other misc issues, but that is the major one.

Basically I had to make the decision keep it and commit to the car for many years or unload it and move on. Well when the GTO showed up on my radar the choice was easy...

Back on topic... That is the primary reason I did not do private sale and offer it for sale here. Carmax can fix that problem, especially if they sell it for 16k. Heck they could rebuild the trans twice. If that problem was not there it would have been up for sale here, well actually if that problem was not there I would still be driving it.

People will be all over that because it is a 40,000 mile car. I traded in my 80,000 mile car for 10,500

Overpriced at 16. Private sale you could get it for less.

And you bought a car from that dealer. I wish I would have been in that position but still very happy with the deal I worked out.

yup sure did, they were the only dealer that was giving me more then other dealers, and one of the easiest smoothest car buying experiences i have had
