ever try to find the 79 only tailhousing manual rx7 trans? my old man bought it new, YELLOW , and i eventually touched damn near every bolt on it by the time we got rid of it from the rot

my old man put a header/reactor delete on it in 80 and then cali changed the emissions rules in 82/84ish so his car was in a gray area emissions wise for a long time motor poped in oaklahoma at just about 90k on it and we had to put in a racing beat basic reman
the car was awesome and light, barebones as hell it was fuckin sweet, i see the apeal of sbc/sbf swaps into em
i could see a 3800/t5 in one... its lighter than my wagn
