I'd imagine 1.6's are too much for a stock GT-40P motor without after market pistons? Stock stud size?

I was more curious about valve/piston clearance? I thought I had been told 1.6's need after market pistons? Or is that 1.7s?

youll be fine. fly cuts are needed for 1.7s or when you run a big cam
