04 Jetta 1.8T 64k $4500 PICS ADDED

A buddy at work is selling his Jetta. His gf today ran over some big muffler in the road and cracked the transmission case and pan and lost all the oil when they pulled over. One of our shops said that its not repairable and I havent seen it for myself. Car is in decent shape. Does have one dent on passinger side rocker molding from a snow bank. Pic can be available.

they went camping the weekend prior. thats why its muddy

on a side note, if just the trans case and pan were cracked, cant you just swap the trans and it will be fixed?

Depends on how long it ran/moved sans fluids

yeah it should be fine if you were to swap cases. the car pulled over right away and stopped but all the fluid still came out
