Comp Cams 224/230 114lsa

Alright guys, up for sale is the cam currently in my truck. I just picked up a new bump stick tonight, custom specd. for me. Going to give something a bit different a try. It will be out of the truck tomorrow afternoon at some point. This cam propelled my TBSS to a best of 12.43 on motor, the second place record for cam only!!

I didn't keep track of exact mileage, but it has less than 8000 on it 100% sure.

A little bit of specifics:

Basic Operating RPM Range: 2,000-7,000
Duration at 050 inch Lift: 224 int./230 exh.
Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.581 int./0.588 exh. lift
Lobe Separation (degrees): 114
Grind Number: LS1 XER273HR-14

It is a 3 bolt cam.

$250 shipped, $220 picked up.

well bolt-ons were covered. I want a cam but i was looking at like 212/218 or 220/220. I figured it was high enough to nbeed one and i'm not up for spending $700+ for verter just yet. I'll put it together and throw one in later on i guess but have one spec'd for me.

good luck, it should sell pretty quick

12.43? need more specs. axle ratio and stall on the converter. Just curious.

This is very close to the cam I have in my car.

The 114 LSA idles real smooth

This cam is not too aggressive, it still has good street manners, but when you hammer down on it shit can get fun real fast.

You would need better than stock valve springs and I would recommend some better push rods.

A good grind if you ever want to go with some sort of power adder.

+1 on the converter, it was recommenced to purchase a converter with anti ballooning plates for the added pressures. At 5000 RPM this cam just starts to come alive, a good tune will also be needed.

All in all GREAT cam
I'd buy it in a second if I did not already have one.
