How many miles are on it? Does it just bolt up to my 99 GT?

AFAIK, it bolts up to the 3800s without issue.

I wasn't told how many miles were on it. I do know it came out of a working car though.

99PONTIAC has a issue with the torque converter being stuck off and instead of replacing the torque converter id rather install a new trans or working heavy duty trans

I think this thing is an HD trans... are there markings on these things somewhere I can look for to find out if its an HD?

it should be located on the badge near the torque converter housing

110% honest i dont know exaaaactly what it is. but it came out of my 97 4 door grand prix se... that had an l67 installed in it... the car was basically a combination of a plethora of parts.

it ran, shifted and worked good when removed

Dan if I had the extra 200 I would be all in. But it is baby steps so the wife will not get mad. Motorcycle first then part it out then I should have the cash. Of course by then it will be gone and I will have to look for topswap parts.

all bell housings on a 3800 are the same, so it will definently bolt right up fellas. however, back in 97 there was a big ol vacuum canister that sat in the front right side of the trans. the 4t60e had this, now if this is a 65e(no vacuum canister) then it will bolt right up to a 98+ model unless u change the blower. not 100% on the wiring if thats the same though but pretty sure it is

Case has 24204411 stamped into it. 1/2 the ID plate on the trans is mostly washed away says 617BMB on it.

I think at the bottom in very small writing it also says.....
