F/S: Very Rare 2004 GTO!!!

F/S: Very Rare 2004 GTO!!! (REDUCED PRICE)

I'm posting this car for a guy I work with. It's a lightly modded 2004 Barbados Blue 6spd GTO with only 4,250 miles on the clock. The car is located in Ottawa, IL and according to my friend there were only 271 Barbados Blue 6spd GTOs made in 2004. The car is ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE inside and out. This car is Adult owned, very well maintained, garage kept, and has never seen rain or snow.

Price is now $16,500

Mods done to the car include.
Borla Cat-Back Exhaust
K&N Cold Air Kit
Superchips Programmer
Factory 2006 Ram Air Hood
Chromed Factory 17x8 GTO Wheels
New Goodyear Eagle F1s 245/45-17
He has all of the original parts that came off the car and is asking $17,000 o.b.o. Anyone who is interested please call (815)-433-2098.

uhhh.. why didnt you take that when you had the choice for a 05+ Mustang GT?

iirc they were the same price... and you listed off a million nick-nacks you didnt like about the GTO...

they had 50-60K miles, and were auto, Couldn't find any decent manual ones for a good price. Mustang was a Vert, Manual, and 16K on it.

This car will surely sell fast :)

First off, what is up your cock today?

Anyway, they are REAL close to the same power wise with the same exact cam and heads. If you plan on modding, then don't pay any attention to if it is an LS1 or LS2. Just look for the best deal.

Simply put a LS2 with 3 grand worth of mods will make more power then a LS1 with 3 grand worth of the same mods. It will not make a lot more power but some, maybe 15-20rwhp. Dont know why you think the mods are more expensive, they are the same parts save for the tb. There is no replacement for displacement.

Yes, lets compare 04 m6 numbers to 05 a4 numbers, that should make your weeny feel bigger.

05 m6 numbers are more like 350 stock, a4's are 335-340

if the LS2 only makes 15-20hp more then a Ls1, how does putting Ls2 heads on a LS1 add 15-20hp? i suppose LS2's bigger cam and slightly larger displacement do nothing?

Truth is, Ls2 makes about 30 more WHP on average, or 45-50 more at the crank. once both engines have the same aftermarket cam and heads we're talking probably 10whp, 15 at the crank - not a big difference if your modifying. Of course there are other upgrades on the 05+'s

It goes on and on and on. I never said the LS1 was better. I said mod for mod, it will stand up next to a LS2. It will however, eventually lose, but still put up a good fight.

What do you want to get pissy about next?
