i know its a shot in the dark, but thought i would throw this out there. l would like to buy a trans cheap. wondering and hoping if someone's got one laying around junk and/or in the way. i just dont wanna have all the down time at all with my car. any help would be much appreciated...thanks again guys

I found one on there for you. It's $275 and out of a 2000. I don't think it is for a supercharged car, which would be a 4T65e-HD transmission. Anyway, here's the link:

yeah i was there today... there was a bonneville that i stole an icm out of, as well as a four door green gt...

both with their trannys still in em...

and its picknpull so its prolly cheap as fuck.

i can not thank u guys enough for the help. im thinking instead of buy a non hd one and moving my pieces over, if i can, i think i'll try and find a hd one and rebuild that and be done with it....ohhh decisions

All you need to convert it to the HD is the diff cover and the differential. The axle is different as well. Im sure you have all of those parts already, so as long as they arent broken the conversion is free.

nah, internals are the same its just the output shaft, diff, and the case thats all. guys i am very greatful for real. thank u guys again. i think i may go that route and just swap my hd parts over, its just i was hoping to rebuild and swap instead of taking my parts out and switching ya know. but its all good. thank u guys again....alot
