Up for sale is a white 2009 Ford Mustang GT California Special Convertible with 127K miles with the 4.6l 3v engine and 5 speed auto transmission. It is all stock with the addition of the optional OEM cloth top and Shaker 1000 radio system with factory 2 amps and woofer in the trunk. The California Special package includes unique front and rear bumper covers, body side scoops, black decals, special rims and unique 2 tone color leather interior.
I bought it with front fender and door damage and bought a white door, fender and hood to repair it. Front and rear bumper covers were replaced with new Ford OEM parts. Local body shop/rebuilder repaired it and Ford installed suspension and aligned it. Car runs and drives great. Everything works in car as it should. Includes Ford alarm/remote start.
Other new components added to upgrade:
Moog stabilizer links and tie rods
New painted front and rear rotors and ceramic pads
Newer 2013 California Special 19” rims with tires with less around 10K miles on them (incl original rims)
New take off GT500 front/rear springs, shocks and struts
New GT500 front lower control arms (upgraded bushings and ball joints)
It has a few minor issues
Needs door panel leather reattached to door panel (common issue)
CD player mechanism gets stuck but radio and aux input works fine (common issue)
Newer rims have newer TPMS sensors that won’t program to the older module so TPMS error light is on
