EDIT: SOLD FOR $5300.
Located in Plainfield. Also listed on Craigslist and Del Sol forum.
They say money can't buy happiness, but it can buy you this low mile del Sol and put a smile on your face! The weather is warming up, and tax refunds are burning holes in people's pockets! This one will not last long, so act quickly!
THE GOOD: It's nearly all stock, aside from a replacement exhaust, JVC radio, and shift knob (stock is included). There is no rust on the body; only some mild surface corrosion on metal undercarriage parts. It passed a recent safety inspection (documentation provided upon request). It drives like it is straight out of 1994. It shifts smoothly with no play in the shifter, VTEC takes you right up to redline, and the suspension feels solid. The clutch engagement is perfect and does not slip. Tires have 9/32nds of tread, and it has a new battery. There are no leaks in the engine bay nor from the targa roof panel. The interior is in very good condition. Only 1 female owner prior to me buying it last fall. Autocheck history report is clean and will be included with sale. I have the new title ready to be signed over to the next lucky owner.
THE BAD: It looks great from 10 feet away, but up close there are some fine scratches, nicks, and dings that would not be "car show worthy". The lady who had owned it allowed the dings and scratches when stored and parked. The front bumper has some damage, likely from a tow hitch backing into it, as pictured. The rear bumper has multiple scratches that have been touched up. The driver door has numerous small scratches that have been touched up. There are some small dings around the vehicle that could potentially be fixed with paintless dent removal.
If you can't drive stick, you will not test drive this car. You can learn on it after you buy it. I will ride along on any test drives. Cash transaction will be completed only at a Chase bank during business hours.
