Ok, have decided I just don't have interest in this car anymore and think it's time to part with it. I purchased it back in August 2013 with it having a dropped valve seat. At that time the only mods it had was the exhaust, diff cover, rear shocks, subframe connectors, JLT CAI and the KB 2.8H which had just been put on 500 miles before the valve seat dropped.
I had all the exhaust valve seats replaced with tighter fitting seats along with one valve and any valve guides that were out of spec by PER in Plainfield. Added many little upgrades while in the process including a bunch of ARP hardware, 98 cobra intake cams, GT500 iron timing chain tensioners. Did all new gaskets on anything that was taken apart and even redid all the seals on the oil cooler which have a tendancy to leak.
I didn't want to skimp on anything putting this together as I thought it'd be a car I'd have for a rather long time.
Unfortunately the only issue with the car is the clutch, I had picked it out before deciding to convert the car to the returnless fuel system and going E85. I wound up making more power than the clutch is really rated for since the cobra has a longer 1st gear than Promotion specs the clutch torque rating for. I do have a Ram twin disc that I'll include that can be sent in for a rebuild that will be good for 900hp and only will cost $550 to do.
