Kirkey Seat Brackets

Voodoo Race Engineering's answer to the dreaded Kirkey seat mounting problem that most car guys can relate to. We will be offering this design for many applications. This is the easiest way to mount your Kirkey seats without dropping it off at a fabrication shop. Saves time and money. This base and seat weigh in at only 17 lbs. Saving you up to 29 lbs. per side. Sizes available are 18'', 17'', 16'', and 15''.

..guess we've been lucky because we've never had look elsewhere for race seat mounts.. just takes time to fit right.... (and thankfully never had to go to any sort of fabricator)

Feel free to post pics of the seat brackets you've made. I'm all for racers doing things themselves, but most don't have the means or the want to make them.

^ grassroots is our style ..keeping it cheap..

We just use standard side seat brackets and some steel with a little bit of welding works wonders (won't be much to show as I'm obviously not going to easily remove the seat from our 'in storage' race car)

..meanwhile, the Miata we just bolt the seat right to the floor (no special brackets needed)
