FS: 2000 Impala LS

Well, the time has come (I thought I would have this car forever) to sell the Impala.

I bought my dads 08 corolla for a DD (I drive 3 miles to work and 3 home M-F, and weekends we use the equinox mostly..so this corolla will last me forever). Reason I am selling is I need to get out of the project/"fun" car stuff for a while while I save for a house..eventually I'll get something rwd as a toy.

Onto the impala:

Odometer has 152,xxx miles on it, but it was swapped so the actual mileage is 22,426 miles more. So it has 174,xxx in reality.

Mods:
There are a lot, so I may forget to list every little item but I will hit the major ones and almost all of them.

Indy ss interior (except back seat..hadn't swapped to leather yet)
Aeroforce scan gauge w 3 pillar pod
Polk audio speakers all around powered by a polk audio amp
Pioneer HU (nothing fancy but it has an aux and usb slot)
Viper remote start/alarm (door unlock and alarm aren't wired in..wiring is there I just left it since I only cared about the remote start and it was in the middle of winter when I installed..easy to finish if you want)

The "good version" of speed daddy headers (catless)
GMPP Cat-back
ZZP PCM, tweaked in-car with my HP Tuners
HV3 Insert
Cold Air Intake (forget what brand but its clear box similar to wizaird)
Stage 1 ZZP Ported Throttle Body

The Good:

Brand new tires (2k miles)
Trans was rebuild 5k miles ago
Differential was just replaced

All new front suspension (WBS lowering springs, kyb gr2 struts, new LCA's, New outer tie rods, new brake pads, new camber bolts, newer hubs, newer axles)
Fresh alignment (have a lifetime alignment at firestone)
Newer battery
Newer radiator
Intake gaskets and coolant elbows were done in DEC 2010 with the upgraded felpro stuff..been fine since


(when I say newer-most of it is only a few months old..all of it is within a year)

This car has been in my family since day 1 (Grandfather bought it brand new, Dad bought it off him, I bought it off my dad) so I have a notebook with complete history on repairs and maintenance scheds, I can copy for you no problem.


The Bad:

It is a 14 year old car in chicago winters, so cosmetically its a little beat up with scratches, chips, dings, etc. (nothing too severe)

There is something going on with the EVAP system. When it gets down below E once in a while it will not let you fill it with gas until it sits a while. Not sure exactly what it is, but I have just been keeping it above E for the last 2 years or so and it hasn't given me a problem since.

Valve Cover gaskets are leaking (I will include new ones so you can replace)

One of the diagonal braces snapped a bolt (in engine bay)..handles fine, I just haven't drilled the bolt out and re-tapped it yet..easy fix, just trying to be honest in every detail I can think of.

For the right price I will include EVERYTHING 3800 or Impala related that I have around the garage/house. I just went through everything and this is what I have:

valve seals (all of the spring/rocker stuff is new/unopened)
extra HVAC unit

And finally the factory service manuals..I paid 100 for these back in the day and it was worth every penny.



Asking 2600 obo for the car with everything listed plus the extra's.

For 3000 I will include the earthquake subs, boxes, mtx sub amp, and second battery in the trunk (all hooked up still ready to go). I was going to pull this stuff but if I can get the extra 400 I am willing to part with it. (system sounds awesome all together).
