I've never heard of SVT Contour grenading motors with ANY sort of regularity, and I was very active within the community for many years There were quite a few on the boards with 200K+ on them, I had mine over 120K when I sold it without issues.

This car has been nothing but great to me over the past two years. I lurked a lot on Contour.org and the only issue I saw with the 2.5's was the oil starvation issue so I've always ran an extra quart of oil to combat that. Regardless, thanks for thread crapping!

Is that all people do to combat that? I am going to buy one and an SHO s00000n, I was curious about that. I want to road race it, but I don't want it to die. I would be enticed with yours but I h8 rust, and no ac?
