Narrative:
I bought the Corvette in December of 2010 from Boardwalk Chevy while living in the San Francisco bay area. It was my daily driver for the next 18 months, during which time I put on 29K miles. My daily commute to work was 60 miles round trip, all of it on the highway and all of it during non-rush hour times.

October 2012, I moved back to the Chicagoland area. And yes I drove the entire 2K miles from San Francisco to Chicago, and it was glorious. Since moving back, I’ve picked up a BMW 535 xDrive as a daily driver and the vette sits in the garage, rarely getting used. I’ve driven it only a few hundred miles since moving to Chicago.

The wife and I are looking at building a new house and selling the vette would free up some cash, so I’ve decided to post it here to see if there’s any interest.

Now for some common questions or concerns:
The only problem I’ve ever had with the vette happened within the first week of ownership. The Service Ride Control message appeared in the DIC. At the time, the car had less than 100 miles if IRC. I took it in and they replaced an electronic control module. Aside from that, the car has never given me problems.

The car has never had any paint or body work. No accidents, no dents, dings or stories. There are a number of rock chips on the front end and in front of the rear wheels, nothing that would be considered unusual after being driven on the highway as much as it has been.

The car has not been abused, it was my daily driver and only car for nearly its entire life. Absolutely no street racing. The first and only time it’s ever been raced was last month at a ½ mile airport runway rental event where I made 4 passes, the best one being a 150.3mph run.
