Nah. .50 is too heavy to carry a lot of it, especially for a bug out trailer/setup. I'd say a mounted M249 or M240 variant. Can carry a lot of 5.56/.308/7.62 and with 7.62 do almost as much damage and carry a whole hell of a lot more ammo.

I meant on the trailer. You can squeeze a lot more 7.62 in a .50 ammo box than .50 itself all while 7.62 being a very strong round itself. But I digress.
