FS: 2013 Dodge Dart sxt Rallye - 1.4 Turbo, 6 speed Manual

We've decided to sell my wife's Dart and don't know if anyone here would be interested:

Make: Dodge
Model: Dart
Trim: SXT Rallye
Drivetrain: 1.4 MultiAir Turbo (160hp, 184tq @ 2,550 rpms) / 6 speed manual transmission
Exterior Color: Red
Interior Color: Black with Gray accents
Miles: 19,600 (will go up slightly)
Price: $17,000

It's my wife's car for when she was commuting to work. Now she's not working and going back to school and we don't want car payments anymore. Car is in great shape and works fine. Still under warranty as well.

Highlights:

Rallye Package - appearance upgrades, 17" wheels, etc (see window sticker).

1.4 Turbo/6-speed manual - Gets 31-34 mpg with mix of highway/city. It's a fun car to drive and it let's you know when it gets into boost (unlike the gm 1.4T). All 184lbs tq is available at 2,550 rpms. The stock exhaust note is great and boisterous! Sounds like an italian mini-srt. See video (not mine):

UConnect Infotainment System - Navigation, Sat Radio, Voice Command, Bluetooth Connectivity, mp3/SD card connectivity, etc. This system is great and is well thought out. The Navigation is a Garmin system. Hands free calling is simple and and the voice commands actually understand you. It controls climate and entertainment in the touch screen but also has analog controls on the steering wheel and on the dash. I am truly impressed with this system and all it's features and hope to have another car with it someday.

Exterior Highlights Automatic projector headlights and fog lamps with LED taillights. Dual exhaust and blacked-out headlamps and grille. I wish I would have put tint on the car as it would have made it look even better.

Interior Highlights Red led accent lighting around dash and cupholders. USB input and cd player in armrest, leather wrapped steering wheel, dash, and door armrests. The seats are very comfy. I'm a big guy and at 6'2", I fit in the car just fine. The seats can actually go down and back further than I need to be comfortable. There's a storage compartment built into the seat bottom of the passenger seat which is nice for additional storage or putting valuables out of sight.

Driving Highlights The car is very comfortable while feeling planted and nimble. The car is a slightly elongated Alfa Romeo platform. Hit the right pedal from a stop and you hear the exhaust note start to say :fy:, then the full 22psi kicks in and the car pulls through the gears. There almost isn't any lag between shifts as well. On the highway is where it'll shine even more. It cruises along holding the road firmly, while being comfortable. We've driven the car between Chicago and Atlanta a couple of times and it's the most comfortable car I've owned while also being the most confident in highway speed turns/driving through the mountains. When you need to pass someone or accelerate on the highway, you can just leave it in 5th or 6th and give it some gas. I was surprised at this on our first highway trip by this as well. All other 4 & 6 cylinder cars we've have had need to downshift and shoot up the rpms to do the same thing. The brakes are very good but not overly touch sensitive. After I drive the Dart and then get into my Mountaineer, I almost die each time I first try to stop.

For those interested in modability - Like most all FI cars, there's a healthy aftermarket that is continuing to grow. The drivetrain has been in europe for a while now and is also in the Fiat Abarth. The Euro and now some new US aftermarket companies have chips/tunes available with other mods. Turbo-back exhaust, tune, intercooler pipes, and CAI have gotten these cars to 210whp/250wtq.

In the end, we were surprised by this new Dodge and have thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving it.
