1997 Civic LX - 4 door, Stickshift

Forsale I have a 1997 Honda Civic LX, 4 door, Stickshift, Green on Tan.

LX = Power windows/Locks/Steering/Cruise, and AirCon.

$2,200 Firm.

Car has 233K on it, and I picked it up from its second owner if I recall correctly (Daughter of the first owner, personal friend of ours for the past few years who just move to the UK, I believe the dad bought it new).

Car has a few dings here and there, and a small crease on the driver side front fender (Can probably tell from pics), but over-all a very solid car.

1.6 Non-VTAAAAAK that runs like a swiss watch as to be expected. Has markings on the timing belt cover indicating replacement, I believe about 50K ago.

I've done the following on this car over the past year:
New return fuel line, and front to rear brake lines (rusted, feed was still solid)
Driver side rear brake cylinder (previous Mech broke the bleeder off)
Valve cover gasket (Seeping)
Headlight bulbs (woooo.....)
Poly shifter bushings (ENERGY brand)

NOTE- the car is undercoated, underbody and sheet metal are all 100% solid minus a bubble coming up on the pass side rear quarter.

Issues:
-headliner has a few odd nicks in it, along with the passenger side visor, I've replaced the driver side one.
-OEM shifter is garbage even with fresh poly bushings, already ordered a short shifter to throw into this thing, so this will be resolved before sale.
-Dead speaker Passenger side front door (Forgot about this at the JYard today, will replace this prior to sale most likely as well)
-Headlights are a little hazy (Deal with it I suppose, or fix it, whatever :) )
-ORIGINAL CLUTCH (Still shifts/bites/engages fine, but I'm just giving full disclosure) Replacement is $86 on RockAuto, and I may very well do this myself if I don't get close to my asking price.

Only pic I have at the moment for the front interior (Cleaned all the plastics, nooks, crannies, vacuumed, and then shampooed)

Short shifter is installed, drives worlds better, stock shifters are so sloppy...

Motor bay pic, pic of the only visible rust, as detailed interior pics:

Doubt anyone cares, but it had a CEL, and SRS light, both have been corrected (SRS due to dead battery from long ago, weird reset procedure, CEL due to code 420 *Cat not doing a good enough job*, Car now has the spark plug fouler Sim on it, no more codes).

It is 100% flawless right now minus a dead passenger side door speaker, which I'll probably replace tomorrow bar any rain.

You should take care of the "issues" before you sell it. They're all simple fixes, it'll take you a Saturday to do everything, including the clutch. You can then ask more for that car, and have someone look at your ad knowing there aren't any issues.

Issues:
-headliner has a few odd nicks in it, along with the passenger side visor, I've replaced the driver side one.

There is no way I'm going to replace the headliner over 2 nicks, just giving full disclosure.

-OEM shifter is garbage even with fresh poly bushings, already ordered a short shifter to throw into this thing, so this will be resolved before sale.

Already installed short shifter, mentioned in a later post.

-Dead speaker Passenger side front door (Forgot about this at the JYard today, will replace this prior to sale most likely as well)

Getting married in 2 weeks, don't have time for another Jyard run at the moment.

-Headlights are a little hazy (Deal with it I suppose, or fix it, whatever)

Really don't care, doesn't impact their functionality, just giving full disclosure.

-ORIGINAL CLUTCH (Still shifts/bites/engages fine, but I'm just giving full disclosure) Replacement is $86 on RockAuto, and I may very well do this myself if I don't get close to my asking price.

Again, nothing is wrong with it, just giving full disclosure.

If I still have the car after the wedding, I'll replace the one dead speaker.

Im somewhat enticed.

Swap in a b18 and I'll come with 2200 cash.

You can B18B1 swap one of these these for like $700. I've done it Twice in years past, SUPER easy, and transforms these cars. 142hp/127tq makes for a fun little DD when it weighs 2200lbs.

Trade for 97 suburban?

I already have a 99 Expedition, so no go on any more big trucks :(
