1996 Mustang Cobra - Mild Mods

I have for sale a 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra. This cobra is a little unique as the original motor was replace with a re-manufactured motor out of a 03-04 aviator. It is same motor out of the Mach 1s as well. The car currently shows 155k on the clock but after motor swap the odometer has not worked. I have 90% of all paper work for parts that were installed(see list below). I am also open to trades for 4x4 (Range Rover, Land Rover discovery,Jeep,etc). Might consider Lincoln LS or a nice Crown Victoria BMW 540i. I am looking for 6k o.b.o

Condition -
- The paint is overall in good shape. Car looks to have been repainted at sometime. But it was not a macco job. Still shines up nice. There is road rash on front bumper. And some dings and scratches. But for the year it looks great.
- Interior is in decent shape. With no major rips or tears. The leather is a little hard in places but overall good shape

Issues
- Odometer no longer works after motor swap. Speedo is fine
- A/C is there but has a leak so is not working
- Has after market head unit with amp in trunk. Radio only works sometimes. Might fix before sold
- ABS light is on

I was told it only had 10k on the reman motor. I have no documentations unfortunately though.

it was changed but its still is a DOHC motor so technically its still different than a GT

Bingo. Still DOHC but better flowing heads then the 96 motor ever had.

I dont think the suspension was modified other then fixing OEM worn out parts. The car has a Ford Racing Limited Slip Differential and 410 gears. Trans is stock from what I know.

I had car at track once. With crappy 2.1 60' times I was running 13.4 at 106. This was at joliet when it was 98 degrees out. So im sure it will run low 13's maybe high 12s no problem with a great launch.
