Up for sale is a 1988 VW Scirocco with only 64k original miles! This car is very rare, this is the last year for the U.S. production, with only 3,750 cars made. As you can see in the pics, this car is SUPER CLEAN. The paint is in great shape, it has been garage kept and has no dents or scratches, and not a spec of rust! This has the VERY rare BBS wheels that were specifically made for the Scirocco, as you can see in the pics of the wheels, they have VW stamped on the rims. Also, this car has a Neuspeed strut tower brace, as well as VERY expensive H&R Coilovers suspension. Car is located in Des Plaines, IL. Please, serious buyers only. .
The overall condition of the car is great with only a couple issues. The first issue is that when the car is cold it holds a rough idle and sometimes dies out unless you feather the throttle, but only acts up for the first few minutes of driving then it runs just fine. Also, the tranny shifts fine, but the clutch is starting to go bad, slips a bit when shifted hard, so a clutch replacment should be done in the near future.
These cars are getting very hard to find in this condition.
