JL 500/1 amplifier
Amp is a few years old. It was my brothers which was installed in his truck and sat after he sold it. It's been mine the last 6 months and I would pull the sub box out 3-4 days a week for work since it would be filled with medical equipment.
They're still going for $400 new:

Kicker L3
Getting a brand new subwoofer warrantied by Kicker within the next week. Over the weekend I blew the speaker. Think the bass wasn't adjust low enough in the car and the higher volume driving on the expressway contributed to the speaker blowing.

I built this box myself according to kickers spec. Thy recommended 2.25 cubic foot enclosure with a 3'' vent and I built it as close to that spec as possible. The box is covered in gray felt. Not the greatest job in the world but ill be redoing the box to do a better job.
I've seen the 1 12'' boxes going for $100+
Looking to get $550 for complete setup; the amp, box, speaker and ill throw in the 4 gauage wire that was installed in the car also to have a complete sound system.
It was professionally installed by Pro Sounds in Chicago.
