05s had a few goodies the 04s didnt have. NAV that displays through the HUD is one of them. My personal favorite.

navi through hud? If you could elaborate... is this a possibility to add on a older gen gtp?

My HUD shows the turn by turn directions below the speedometer as they happen, where the radio station displays. So I can leave my headunit on the source screen so my co pilot can change channels and I still know where I am going. I still have to switch back to the NAV screen for more information occasionally, but most of it comes up. Oh and I turn off the voice, drives me nuts how it turns down the volume.

I dont think it can be adapted to older versions. I would think you need to switch everything over, and I dont even know if that is entirely possible.

SOM>04GP orange. But it still looks good IMO. Especially done up with the SD front damn and SPO package.

Also, 04+ GTPs are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY faster then 97-03s.
