Sawa's Old Warsaw Polish Smorgasboard on 22nd in Broadview-
All you can shove into your food hole for I think its $7.95/plate

I also hit Miro's Little Europe off i94 when coming back from wisconsin. its over by the kenosha porno/head shop and the giant harley dealer.

Klaas' Bohemian Restaurant on Cermack in Cicero (or is that Berwyn right there) kicks major ass.

Dumpling Villa closed, Zum Deutschen Eck closed, The Old Prague closed, The Weinkeller closed, it sucks. Their clientel tends to be about 90 years old and not too many young people dig the stuff. Glad to find you guys dig it. Lets do a polish food rally sometime

Ok, this rocks my socks.

Anyone up for Sawa's Old Warsaw on the 2nd? I'm thinking like 2pm or so. Also open to alternate suggestions but Sawa's is cheap and all-you-can-eat. I usually need to be rolled out to my car afterwards. You surely will not need to eat the rest of the day.

Are you talking about that Polish joint next to the Lynwood roller skating ring? That is the only Polish restaurant I know of in the area. There is a place called Cafe Borgie in Lansing off Torrence, but I think that is Romanian food or something. Cafe Borgie has awesome food. It's a great place to take your mysterous, he he he just kidding! Anyway, they have fine wine and the food is top notch.

Sorry, I didn't scrow down and check your follow-up post Cobra susie! Yes, thats in Lynwood, Il. close to the Indiana border. I believe it's a buffet and affordable. Cafe Borgie is more of a romantic type restaurant and pretty expensive, but worth it! I take the wife there alot.

You all must stop by my family's Butcher shop in Old Germin town in the City. If you like home made Kessler Rib, Saurebrauten, Patao Sausage, Polish Sausage, you name it. There is not a resturant in chicago or in the midwest for that matter that does not carry some of our products. Check it out...
