i love bc2. going back to it makes you realize how much of a better game it is than cod series. ive been playing bc2 quite a bit lately, im really waiting for the new old maps from bc1

Its funny the BC2 web site says "pre order BC2 Vietnam"... But when I click it the Vietnam option isnt their... Am I missing something?

i believe we already got some of it on consoles as the last patch i just got was 1.7 gigs. now that sure as shit isnt all the patch they just released, it had the bc1 maps on it im sure along with some if not all the vietnam shit

Actually your right. I did download a crazy long patch. It took 40 or minutes to complete. I never knew the size of it though. I can't wait!

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam can finally toss away that pesky "Winter 2010" release window to celebrate an official December 21, 2010, launch date. The expansion will also be available a little earlier on PC "exclusively" through the EA Store and Steam on December 18. Not only that, but DICE has rolled out a double dose of good news, noting the free VIP Map Pack 7 will hit on December 1.

VIP Map Pack 7 will include four new(ish) maps, while Vietnam will be a $15 multiplayer expansion with four more maps, along with new weapons and vehicles.

everyone i know who likes cod still says the same thing. one requires a shitload more teamwork than the other, alot of people hate teamwork, mainly cod players. to each their own

I like team work. I think the problem was I bought it for pc, and my pc just isn't strong enough to run the game smoothly. Game felt like a ton of chaos though.

judging it from pc version is null and void. pc version was pretty much the weakest of the group. it did nothing better.

when you first play it, it can feel a bit overwhelming, you are playing with 24 people and theres helicopters, tanks all kinds of other shit that add to the whole fighting a mini war feeling. i love the gameplay of it cause it forces you to play as a team, or at very least work as a good squad.

I play it on the PC and I think it is by far the best platform. You can build a banging pc and the graphics look much better than the console. For the average gamer though I can see how console is preferred though.

The patch came out today... FFS 2.6GB patch! Took forever to download.

nah, ive been down the pc gamer route, costs wayyyyy too much money to stay with the trend. i wasted like 5-8k on a pc in like 2 years, not worth it.

Oh yeah thats the problem. When you buy something nice/new there is always something tomorrow that is better for the same price.

ive been playing ALOT of this game the last few weeks, actually had one of the best rounds ive had in this in awhile. went 47-11 with 5750 in points. i could do no wrong it seems, was destroying bitches :coold:

BS2 is SO SO SO much better than 1.
I hated the first one, but just got the 2 last weekend, and been playing it when time allows. Very, very fun game.
