Anyone have an HTC One they want to sell?
My Daughter needs a replacement phone & I'm on unlimited data. Can't use upgrades.

i will be ready for an upgrade by august....so.... :dunno:

Mook 02-04-2014 10:01 AM

Wait to see what HTC announces with the next One. The S5 is supposed to be a complete redesign tho.

Gav'sPurpleZ 02-04-2014 10:04 AM

similar in layout etc ? since it's android ?

Mook 02-04-2014 10:07 AM

The HTC? Ya. It has Sense but a quick launcher change makes it more like vanilla android. I love mine and it will take a lot to make me upgrade.

i wouldnt go with the apple product.....

Ive owned an Evo 4g, GS2, GS3 and the One. The 3 and the One are close in terms of awesomeness but I'd give the edge to the One, for me at least.

HTC has been really good about getting updates pushed out VERY timely this go around too.

And Ive used an iphone on numerous occasions and while its dummy proof, its just not for me.

the best part of it, is the battery life.

I'm at 1 day, 4 hours right now without charging, and I have 55% left still...

My old S3 I would have had to charge once around lunch yesterday, last night, and then I would probably have about 50% right now as we speak.

Mook 02-04-2014 10:22 AM

Im a bit worried that since HTC sold off its stake in Beats that the next One wont have front facing speakers, which are AWESOME. I'm almost hoping they dont increase the size too much...

And lately, I am easily hitting 5+ hours of screen on time, which is ridiculously good.

Gav'sPurpleZ 02-04-2014 10:26 AM

although i have posted in here about battery life... that was with, what i consider a defective replacement.

i dont use my wifi or 4g @ work too often, since TCG is available on the net.
my signal is low due to the building, i keep it on vibrate and i usually just text throughout the day and my battery is usually around 70-80% when i leave

( unplug @ home around 515 am and leave work around 4pm )

battery life is okay for what i ask the phone to do

Mook 02-04-2014 10:27 AM

Keep your phone on wifi whenever you have it available. Dont let it sit on 4g. Makes a huge difference.

If you really wanna know how good your battery is doing, check battery stats, tap display and see what your screen time is before you put it on the charger.

Gav'sPurpleZ 02-04-2014 10:29 AM

yeah, since i have 2gigs shared with my moms phone, i always use the WiFi @ home.
unless i have super long conversations using a bluetooth, my battery isnt under 40% when i got to bed.

will post stats later, :jg:

Mook 02-04-2014 10:29 AM

Oh, you turn off data completely at work?

yes, it struggles to find 4g, goes to 3g and to be honest, i dont need it on.

Mook 02-04-2014 10:31 AM

Ya, that will help a metric fuckton w/ battery.
