First it's this, then it's Nintendo games on Xbox.... My younger selfs wet dream.

Earlier today, we reported on the rumor that Microsoft will soon be bringing an Xbox app and Xbox Game Pass to the Nintendo Switch. But apparently, that's not the only surprise both Nintendo and Xbox are cooking up.

According to the same source, Direct-Feed Games, Microsoft will begin to publish first-party games on the Nintendo Switch, starting with Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Interestingly, Game Informer backs up these claims, as well as word of Xbox Game Pass coming to the Nintendo platform, adding much substance to the validity of everything in question.

Of course, if this does happen, it's worth noting that bigger, more technically demanding Xbox games will still likely never be playable on the Switch natively, given the hardware limitations of the system. But the less demanding games Xbox pumps out, such as Ori and the Will of Wisps, should have no problem running on the Nintendo console. And those that can't, will just have to resort to being played on Xbox Game Pass via streaming.

Im sure that is what he would love though. Let us put our stuff on your console and yours on ours.

Its not advantageous for Nintendo to put a game like Mario Odyssey or Breath of the Wild on another console besides one of theirs. They were so anti mobile phone games forever until now they are making them, but they are not anywhere near the caliber of a console or even handheld game. The only reason why the Wii U sold as much as it did was because of Nintendo first party IPs. Now the Switch is breaking records, and Nintendo will just willy nilly let Microsoft put their games on the Xbox?

New report is saying Halo, Gears, Forza....are all in talks to show up on Switch.

According to Jeuxvideo, not only is Xbox Game Pass coming to the system, but Microsoft will release some of its first-party games directly onto the hyrbid console. This is something that Direct-Feed Games originally reported, but it only made note of Ori and the Blind Forest.

If Jeuxvideo's new report is to be believed though, alongside Ori and the Blind Forest, the other first game to come to the system will be Cuphead, 2017's indie hit from StudioMDHR. Further, apparently Microsoft is planning to bring one of its biggest franchises -- Forza, Gears of War, or Halo -- over to the Nintendo Switch, or at least is in discussions with Nintendo about it.

Jeuxvideo also notes there is particular interest in bringing Rare's games over given the history between Nintendo and the developer. Additionally, the outlet notes that none of its sources have mentioned Scalebound, which, according to a recent rumor, has been resurrected as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
