All you outside workers don't take any chances!!!
Work will be brutal for awhile, be safe or take some vacation time!!!

Plus every one should be extra careful & stock your vehicles.
I checked yesterday and I've really let mine slip.
No food, no jump box :( I did have extra clothes, spare socks & boots, 2 flashlights, but I couldn't find my phone charger for some reason :(

Be safe guys, friends & foes alike!!!!

I cant imagine people who work outside will be called in when it's this cold. Well unless you are on an emergency crew for someone like ComEd.

I got called in yesterday for some emergency 2 1/2 hours away.
Showed up, nobody there, it's NOT an emergency, the plant was running just fine and could have waited indefinitely for me to finish when I wanted.
So of course I change all the equipment and the new fancy piece won't pass internet on 2 ports.
The frigging comcast guys wasn't told it was being used and had it offline :(
14 hour day chasing my tail for something that could wait weeks with zero difference in system capabilities :(

Which is why I wanted to post, screw risking your health if it's not an actual emergency!!!
Tow truck guys, utility guys, health care guys etc!!!

Just be safe every one!!!

I'm heading to Amazon for one of the mini jump boxes next!!!
My big one is old as dirt and time for an upgrade!!!

For a while, I've been meaning to put a winter survival kit in my wife's car. I don't use my vehicle since I mainly use it for work (off during winter). All I have in there is a battery jump pack. Need to get a box/bag going and add some necessities.

I did the same for my wife and she hated it for some reason??
Maybe because she was a PAIN IN THE ASS about not needing anyone's help for anything???

That's actually why I bought the big box with a light & 12v outlets.
She kept taking it out, so I started using it.
She wouldn't even let me keep napkins in HER glove box!!!
It was one of her weirdest deals??
