Default TCL will release a 75-inch version of their 6 series tv in the coming weeks

There’s an 82 inch for the Samsung 8 series. I almost bought it but went with the 75” version due to space constraints. The Q6F QLED does in fact come in 82” and it’s not that outrageous of of a price. But if you read tons of reviews and Rtings, there’s not a huge difference between the 8 series and Q6s...Most say not worth it. Now the Q9s and Q8s are in a very different league.

Q6: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung...?skuId=6202114

Not worth it over 8000

Q8: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung...?skuId=6268300

Worth jump but way pricey.

Nothing really above that level size wise unless you want a projector.

Their OLEDs are the only thing good they make...and even those are flawed.

The Sony X900F is a great 4k TV with impressive picture quality, especially in a dark room due to the high native contrast ratio and full array local dimming support. The TV excels at HDR as it can produce bright, vivid highlights. Motion handling is also excellent due to the fast response time and ability to flicker the backlight to clear up motion. The only main negative is the narrow viewing angle, so the best image quality is reserved for those directly in front of the TV.

Sony's 4k tvs are good, have good processors.

Their OLEDs use LG panels but their own processing chip (which is supposedly superior to LG's, which is not a shocker), but they're hideously expensive.

Not sure if that is a compliment or not.

@JeffsLightning In all honesty, if budget isnt an issue (and it doesnt seem to be), just go here and read:

Cool. The 82" would be good but I have the room that can handle bigger so why not..

I love my OLED LG tv, and coming from a basic LCD tv...... holy crap! For the price it was hard to beat. There was a better rated sony.... but for the same size it was 1500 or 2000 dollars more. And like Mook said unless budget is not a factor i would stick with what I have.

Tech is great and it also sucks. That 4000 dollar Sony is going to be worth 1000 bucks in only a few years if that. Same with my tv

Should I be concerned with shipping such a big TV to my house? This deal on this Sony seems very good..

I had my 80in Sharp delivered to my condo years back. Was boxed really well, plenty of cushion. The only thing that sucked was that ONE dude delivered it...and we had to get it up stairs....but we managed.
