But if I had to rank them, it'd be

1 & 2 - these are pretty much equal for me

4 - Much like 2, to this day whenever I hear Panama on the radio it makes me think of this intro. Also I drive faster if im in a car.

3 - because gt3 is greatest game.

GT Sport - Since I have yet to buy this game, I think thats probably the first time I've seen that intro. Vintage motorsport footage is always awesome.

5 - I mean, i get what they were trying to do, but.....eh. 2nd half of the intro is OK.

6 - there is nothing memorable or special about this intro.

4 with the contrast between the opera music followed by VanHalen's Panama gets me fired up, closely followed by 1 for more nostalgic reasons (first game like that released).

This game set the bar. That opening just put you in awe and set the excitement to play the game. Ran my ps1 into the ground. Had to run it upside down in order to work.

1. Brought back the memories instantly. I grew up poor AF, didn't have shit and had to wear hand me down clothes, but I had that. We played it on a 13" TV, but we played it.

My parents got me a PS2 for christmas in 2001 and GT3 came with the console. I can't even describe how much of an impact that game has had on my life and my passion for cars. I remember going to a website (GTVault I think???) where I would get custom tunes for all my cars, and then I'd still individually tweak the parameters and test, and then tweak some more...
