Dry grass will do that. When it was kind of dry a few years back and we were working in my father-in-law's subdivision, I had to cut down some lumber to frame a piece of sidewalk to pour. I used our concrete saw to quickly cut the lumber but it got hot enough to catch the grass on fire. I hurried to stomp it out before it grew too big.
