We were there 6-7 years ago for a Cubs game in Toronto, but stayed across the street from the Falls all weekend. Besides the excursions in and around the Falls, the casino was the only other thing we did. All the excursions were pretty decent and iirc, there was a package you can buy that includes the people mover (public transportation). It's fucking expensive, if you smoke cigs bring enough for your trip. If your driving bring pop/water/snacks and anything else you might need. All BS aside it was cheaper to eat at the Brazilian Steak House ($50 a person back then) if you went to Chili's it was almost $20 for a cheeseburger with no fries, lol. We had an awesome time and would do it again.

Skylon Tower for the revolving restaurant is pretty cool. They do a brunch on Sundays where you can pig out.
The tourist trap walkabout area is similar to Fisherman's Wharf in San Fran - not worth much.
A drive north into wine country can yield a lot of great places to eat, depending on your palate.
Over by what once was Table Rock (it fell in a few years back) there is a tour of tunnels UNDER the Falls which is pretty cool.
Of course, the Maid of the Mists boat rides up the lower river to the base of the Falls is a classic.
July 2nd is Canada Day - there will be a fireworks display that night.

That's all I got.

Toronto is a fun city. I was there last year around Memorial day weekend. If you're a hockey fan, be sure to visit the hockey hall of fame. It's worth a stop.

There are a handful of good microbreweries in the downtown area and along the lakefront too.

Another thing that's kinda cool and close by is the Pierce Arrow museum in Buffalo, NY. It's a small museum but had some pretty cool stuff in it. They had a 1:1 scale replica of a Frank Llyod Wright gas station indoors which was pretty neat to see and learn about. You only need to spend an hour or two here though, because it is a somewhat small place. I stumbled across it by accident when I was there.

The Wife and kids are going out in July. She did find some stuff on Groupon that is saving a ton of $$$. She wants to take them on the boat thing under the falls, etc...

She also got them the passport cards and not full passports. So if you are going over the border, you will want to make sure you have this covered well in advance as it takes time for the government to work.

So I’m in Toronto right now. Seems like a cool place. Old Toronto area seems like the action zone.
