I bought the thin vinyl that sticks to itself. It's alright but that stiff thicker stuff is so much nicer. Luckily we got it .99 a sqft and it's almost 5yrs old now I won't feel bad changing it if we decide to stay

We bought pergo XP or something like that, highest water resistance and the thickest stuff they make. Bought 2 pallets and have 2 floors done and I’ve got 1 more floor to do.

Whatís the connection style? Just out of curiosity...is click and lock better than tongue and groove?

It goes in at like a 45* and then clicks in. It’s a solid connection but can be a pain to get connected together when installing the other side. I also replaced my subfloor and made sure it was level so that helped a ton with it being solid feeling.

I will say, I dislike the options for stairs. They just look cheesy. I haven’t done mine yet.

IIRC this is about 2500 sqft @ 5 bucks a square. Its jot cheap I believe they have 12.5 just in flooring.

I need more daylight pics. The ones I have doesnt do it justice IMO.

its gonna be super nice once fresh white trim is down.

It’s pergo outlast + and we bought 2 pallets which was just over 2000 sq ft. Bathrooms, dining room and kitchen didn’t get done because they’re tile (dining room has oak flooring).

Don't remember if I mentioned here or not but last January my wife and I rescued our favorite owl, a snowy owl, off of I88. We brought it to our rescue and took it to a vet and it had a broken wing. It ended up getting really sick over the summer and we basically had to force food down it's throat every day. Long story short, we released it on New year's Day. Check out the video we put together of it's story

I haz this as well. Good stuff went down easy and has been great since install 6 months ago. put down about 1300 sq including a kitchen where it has preformed great with water, spills etc. I weighed doing lvp but pergo had a better look and feel to me personally.

Someone could probably correct me, but I think it depends on the quality of the LVP more than anything . Itís supposedly scratch resistant, and kids and pets shouldnít be an issue. Just donít drag heavy furniture, which seems like common sense.

Brings up some good points, temp being probably a good one...LVP probably gets pretty brittle in the cold. And turning the steering wheel may cause issues

my garage is too small to turn the wheel hard once you're in it for one, and i keep it pretty much at 50 always...

i just see when it's "cheap" on home depot deal of the day and gets me thinking.
