Right now I've got a Hodge podge of boxes at home.

This interests me.

I think the HF ones are pretty solid for the price. I like that people convert them to a workbench too

That doesn't look like a work bench though.

I'm out because I spent on Snap-On. I will say though, that I want to go with a longer one as a base unit. Mine is more pure vertical.

I wish I had that setup. The big long 72" box with open top... But I needed the storage so I had to go up.

I have that one, in addition to a 2 tier 'narrower' Craftsman setup.

Big fan of it, smooth drawers, good work surface, great value.

I know I got you. When it isn't deep enough you just use a wider drawer and boom solved. I guess if you have that many tools that are both long and wide? But they things that are that big might not belong in drawers?

see now im just wondering if like this:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-52...1AHR/206758940

is worth the upgrade.

it's 50 lbs heavier and to me, typically heavier means better quality...

deeper, but same width/height. says drawers will support 100lbs each as opposed to 50 in the other.

not necessarily caring about single tools that are larger, but moreover the added space.

Oh, don't forget our Crapsman stuff!!!

I have that at the house in Elgin. One for all my detailing towels and such, the other for tools I need there.

It just has more/longer drawers, so more rails/bearings/hardware, I wouldn't say more quality.

Bottom 2 drawers in the cheaper one each support 100lbs also, not sure how you'd put 100+ in any drawers above that to be honest.

I don't think its worth the extra $130 IMO.
