Bresser Action Cam Help...

So basically I bought a GoPro knockoff at all places, Aldi.. It has decent reviews online, 1080 video, 12mp camera... It worked fine on my buddies apple laptop but now a couple days before my trip no matter what I do on my home desktop (Apple machine.. Don't ask specifics as I'm not a computer guy) it won't upload.
I updated everything on the desktop (El Capitan), reformatted the SD hell I even bought another..

It shouldn't be this hard.


I have an old hero and the cards work in that and upload to the desktop fine.


I know the new knockoff camera is recording stuff I can watch the videos on the rear LCD but once I plug it in nothing is recognized..

I know I'm basically computer illiterate but any help would be great.. Thanks.

You know the answer here. Cheap knockoff for a reason. If cards work in everything but the camera won't upload, it's the camera.

I know it's just so weird that it worked on my buddies laptop. Driving me nuts. Looks like I wasted $40 on the camera and 20$ on batteries for it.. <smh> $100 more and I'm at a session.. Fml

are you saying you can't "download" from the SD card? What happens if you try reading the card from the gopro with the videos taken from the whatever fake camera you have?
