he had a cover

it was a really good sized pool with a diving board... 8' deep

i think in your years of being down there you forget how cold most summers have been here lately

shit, his house warming party, was 47* in JULY

monster fucking house sold on the river in mchenry for nearly a hundo under asking.

makes no fucking sense at all.

you can barely touch decent houses for 350-375k on the chain and this fucking monster goes for under four hundo.

sure it's dated as fuck but it's fucking sweet. some small touches and this would have been fucking killer.

It's cool, but old houses like that are money pits. No to mention the 10 window units you'd need to keep it cool in the summer.

I didn't look at the house but could be a low elevation, too, if it's on the river. A lot of older homes were built before current elevation requirements were beefed up. Flood insurance can be expensive for some older homes.

$17,500 a year in tax is pretty awful when youíre buying a house for less than $400k. Cool house though paying 1500/month just in tax alone is poop

5br house on 4.4 acres in Burlington, Wis. Sub $5,000/yr taxes... This will be my next move.

Currently 2 car attached, 3 car detached garages... Plenty of room to build a pole building.

I was gonna say that's a lot of money for a single bro. Then I put in the price and taxes into a mortgage calculator and realized its the same payment as my $210,000 house with my crazy taxes and flood/homeowners insurance.

when we moved from Eagle's neighborhood to Inverness our house cost 3x as much but at the end of the day the payment was only like 40% more

Exactly... it would be $500/mo more for me sticking with 20% down. I pay that difference and then some renting an equipment yard that could be utilized for a pole building and gravel yard on that property...
