Just two old ladies. I think the husband died or went to the "home" early. Looks like all the shit they've amassed over 20 years. Outside of all their stuff, the house is in really good condition other wise. Just needs a real deep clean and replace the carpet and that's about it. And a water softener.

What a roller coaster of emotions these past 3 days. Monday morning my buying agent tells me these people didn't even have a place to move to and have already rejected 2 other full price offers because they didn't want to accept them yet. The buyers may need the money from their current home sale to complete the sale of their new home.

Giving them two weeks rent allows them to close the home, close the new home a day or so afterwards and have a couple weeks to move. Much easier than closing both homes AND moving in one day.

Fixed my garage electrical problem.

The "wall" they put up inside the garage was just really thin cardboard type material and there was a solid wall behind it . Found 5 junction boxes where the power was fed from. Redid all the connections in the junction boxes and BAM! I got power!

Not sure how one came loose but everything is working now.

All of this already took place on Monday and it's a mutual cancellation. Cancelled with Twin Lakes house because I had a home close contingency and we were getting down to a 30 day close if we found a new buyer and didn't want to deal with that BS if the potential buyers were stuck on a 45 day close. If another buyer's inspector finds the stains and says "mold" yet again, I'm now back at square one, AGAIN. Just going to fix the major stuff around the house and sit on it for a while.

What made me laugh was that he put the house back on the market around noon, and around 5pm he said he had 5 realtors call him with a possible showing in 30 minutes. This was after I told him I'm just going to "fix" the attic "issue" and to pull the house off the market after going back and forth all day with what I wanted to do with the Twin Lakes house.

There are no other WI houses that interest me. Not going to move just to move into a meh house. The right one will come and when it does, all the stupid shit will be fixed and hopefully an inspector who knows what he's looking at won't write stupid shit down on the report.

Black staining on the 3 season exterior wall. No mention of "mold like appearance" but he sees it's worn. But suddenly black staining in the attic is "mold-like"? Cocksucker.

I'm just being the typical armchair quarterback, I get that but fuck it's aggravating.

Whatever, I wasn't 100% on the Twin Lakes house after getting my inspection back and the night I got the report I was looking up the cost of all the repairs and it wasn't looking good.

And trust me, with how horrendous my allergies are, if that truly was mold, I'd have known 3 years ago when I moved in.
