Redline, what the hell?

So, was browsing the netflix rentals and this Anime from 2009 popped up.

The reason I clicked on it was the art style, very Aeon Flux like, and the trailer reminded me a ton of the film short "Running Man" which aired on MTV's Liquid Television in the 90's.

Movie comes tomorrow, but it just looks ridiculous. From character design, to the extreme over the top visual style thats almost comical.

running man was on the neo tokyo anthology if you need it. I am pretty sure there are some versions of it on youtube as well.

Well, Redline is for the most part a disappointment.

The art style is awesome, but aside from the first 15 minutes of the film, its poorly animated and jerky. And while I wasn't expecting a good plot and dialogue out of it, I was at least hoping to be entertained by stunning animation based on the trailer.

Sad. Oh well, thats why there's Netflix.

That is the absolute worst fucking trash i have ever subjected my poor eyes to. The only movie i've ever walked out of, and I didnt even pay for the ticket.

It was bad. It made me walk out of my house and return the Netflix rental right then and there.
